blockblasts.io ("Block Blast") respects the intellectual property rights of game developers, content creators, and other copyright holders. We are committed to protecting copyrighted materials related to Block Blast puzzle games and other gaming content on our platform. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement.

Notice of Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on this website, you may notify our DMCA Agent by providing the following information in writing:

  1. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

  2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.

  3. Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (including URL).

  4. Contact Information: Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. Statement of Accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

All DMCA notices must include all six elements listed above to be considered valid and actionable.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the content, you may send a counter-notification containing the following information to our DMCA Agent:

  1. Physical or Electronic Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of Removed Content: Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled.

  3. Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the content.

  4. Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. Statement of Consent: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Our Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice:

  1. We will promptly investigate the claim
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
  3. Notify the content provider of the removal
  4. Take reasonable steps to prevent further infringement

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification:

  1. We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant
  2. Restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action

Repeat Infringers Policy

Block Blast maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We may also, at our discretion, suspend or terminate accounts of users who may be infringing or otherwise violating the intellectual property rights of others.

False Claims and Misrepresentations

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Warning: Filing a false DMCA notice may result in legal consequences. Only submit a DMCA notice if you have a good faith belief that the content is infringing your copyright.

Safe Harbor Provision

Block Blast qualifies for the safe harbor provisions under the DMCA. We do not actively monitor user-generated content but will respond promptly to valid takedown notices and maintain this policy to protect copyright holders' rights.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this DMCA policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy to reflect when changes were made. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of any policy modifications.
